Strategy 25 : Creation of Industry Center of Excellence for Training

Overview  

  • This strategy aims to raise the quality of domestic trainers, by subsidizing the cost of importing trainer training specialists who will work with domestic trainers based in ICT companies or employed as trainers in companies providing ICT Training.     

Purpose?    

  • To encourage growth and diversity in domestic training opportunities for ICT professionals,
  • To reduce reliance on overseas training providers; and      
  • To raise the quality of domestic trainers            

Beneficiaries?     

  • ICT Training Institutes    
  • Internal trainers in ICT companies            

How?     

  • Grants will be offered to domestic trainers to secure the services of experienced trainer trainers to enhance domestic trainers’ presentation and organisational skills and to introduce them to new concepts.
