Strategy 10: In-house Training Incentives

 

Overview 

  • Grant subsidies will be provided to small and medium companies towards the cost of in- house human resource development in ICT in order to promote e-learning and continuous improvement programs within ICT companies.      

Purpose?    

  • To expand in-house human resource development in ICT companies
  • To expand e-learning opportunities at the workplace.

Beneficiaries?     

  • ‘Small’ and ‘medium’ ICT companies

 How?     

  • Grants will be provided to eligible applicants (Selected through a competitive bidding process) for in-house human resource development courses or for expenditure in establishing e-learning opportunities.
  • Grants are offered on the total cost of proposed training investment is as follows:

                  • 75% for “small” companies
                  • 60% for “medium” companies
                  • Up to a maximum of US $ 2,500.     

  • A grant of $10,000 is also available on a case-by-case basis for conducting higher-end courses
