Strategy 16 : Business Linkages

 

Overview    

  • This initiative will seek to create business linkages between local ICT companies and international ICT companies through organized linkage tours in designated countries.      

Purpose?     

  • To promote international exposure for the domestic ICT industry in designated countries and promote software experts.            

Beneficiaries?

  • Local ICT companies           

How?     

  • In phase 1, a “match-making” company is retained in the target country, whose prime responsibility will be to raise awareness of the business tour and arrange meetings between Sri Lankan ICT companies and ICT companies in target countries     
  • In phase 2, a group of selected ICT companies would travel to the target country and take part both in the one-to-one meetings that are prearranged and Country seminars and/or exhibitions
