FutureGov SAARC Summit highlights the importance of change being made quickly, not incrementally through ICT

The first-ever FutureGov SAARC Summit, conjunctly the third annual FutureGov Forum in Sri Lanka, organised by the ICT Agency of Sri Lanka and the FutureGov Asia Pacific magazine, commenced yesterday.

Bringing together an impressive line-up of international and local speakers to address the attendees of the two-day summit, the sessions explored how technology investment could be aligned with agency priorities in order to obtain maximum results and ultimately benefit the people of the SAARC region.

Backed by leading technology-related institutions in Sri Lanka, the summit saw stakeholders from both the public and private sector engaging constructively in order to help Sri Lanka and the rest of the SAARC region to leapfrog to using cutting-edge technology and address the priorities of all governments in South Asia.
