ශ්රී ලාංකික ජනමාධ්යවේදීන්ගේ තොරතුරු තාක්ෂණ හැකියාවන් ඉහල නැංවීමේ වැඩමුළුවක්
මෙම මස 6 වෙනිදා සිට 17දා දක්වා පැවැත්වෙන මෙම සමුළුවේදී සිය වෘත්තීය කටයුතු සදහා තොරතුරු හා සන්නිවේදන තාක්ෂණය භාවිතා කරන අන්දම ගැන මාධ්යවේදීන්ට ප්රායෝගික පුහුණුවක් ලැබෙන බව ශ්රී ලංකා තොරතුරු හා සන්නිවේදන තාක්ෂණ නියෝජිතායතනය (ICTA) පවසයි.
පාඨමාලාව සදහා මුද්රිත හා විද්යූත් මාධ්ය ආයතන විසිපහක මාධ්යවේදීහු සහභාගිවෙති.
පාඨමාලාව මෙහෙයවනු ලබන්නේ ලොව විශිෂ්ටතම මාධ්යවේදීන් පුහුණු කිරීමේ ආයතනයක් වන නෙදර්ලන්ත ගුවන් විදුලි ලෝක සේවාවට අයත් නෙදර්ලන්ත ජාත්යන්තර මාධ්යවේදීන් පුහුණු කිරීමේ (RNTC) ආයතනයයි .
විදේශීය පුහුණුකරුවන් දෙදෙනෙකු මෙහෙයවන මෙම පාඨමාලාව ශ්රී ලාංකික මාධ්යවේදීන්ට ලැබුණු ඉතා අගනා අවස්ථාවක් බව ශ්රී ලංකා තොරතුරු හා සන්නිවේදන තාක්ෂණ නියෝජිතායතනයේ ප්රධානී (ICTA) රෙෂාන් දේවපුර මහතා සදහන් කරයි.
අන්තර්ජාලය හා ජංගම දුරකතනය ඔස්සේ ප්රවෘත්ති ප්රචාරය කිරීම ඉතා ජනප්රිය වී ඇති පසුබිමක ඒ සදහා ලාංකික මාධ්යවේදීන්ටද පුහුණුවක් ලබා දීම වැදගත් බව ඔහු පෙන්වා දෙයි.
තොරතුරු තාක්ෂණ හැකියාවන් භාවිතා කිරීමෙන් තොරව සාම්ප්රදායික ආකාරයෙන් ජනමාධ්යන්හි කටයුතු කිරීම දැන් දුෂ්කර වී තිබේ.එම අභියෝගය ජය ගැනීමට මෙවැනි පුහුණු පාඨමාලා වැදගත් වන අතර ‘ඉ - ශ්රී ලංකා’ යටතේ එවැනි කටයුතු සදහා පහසුකම් සැපයීම තම අරමුණ බව නියෝජිතායතනයේ සන්නිවේදන ප්රධානී අතුල පුෂ්පකුමාර මහතා පවසයි.
While stressing the need for building the ICT capacity of local media personnel Mr. Devapura said that ICTA supported this endeavour on an ongoing basis under its ‘Strategic Communications’ Programme.
“ICTA being a development organisation, human skill development is a very important area for us to achieve certain targets in the e-Sri Lanka road map. ICT savvy journalists can report development related stories in a more professional and efficient manner,” Mr. Dewapura explained.
The participants will be from different professional media such as radio, television, print and online. The goal of the course is to transcend these boundaries and merge the disciplines in search of the ideal of a multimedia journalist.
“The workshop will be dedicated to enabling the participating journalists to work as internet journalists / producers. The emphasis will be on learning by doing, focusing on theory and practice,” ICTA Head of Strategic Communications Athula Pushpakumara said.
The Radio Nederland Training Centre is a centre of excellence in the field of media, development and education. They design and implement projects supporting the development of the media sector and the effective use of media for development. RNTC is attached to the Dutch international broadcaster, Radio Netherlands Worldwide.
