The First CIO Conference on ‘e-Government Policy’ completed successfully
The first CIO conference on e-Government Policy completed successfully on last Thursday 18th March in Colombo, which was attended by over 170 government officers. The event which was organized to effectively communicate the implementation of the set of e-Government policies and procedures brought together heads of government organizations from departments and statutory bodies and their CIOs who showed keen interest in the workshop content delivered by the resource persons. The policy articulates the minimum requirements expected of government organizations, and for this workshop ICTA selected 14 items which are expected to be implemented within the first six months.
The event which was carefully organized with focus given to keep the participants engaged in the activities planned was concluded with 98% participants rating the event as highly satisfied. Here are some of the pictures taken at the event and the presentations delivered.
