[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]STAKEHOLDERS' CONFERENCE: IMPLEMENTATION OF NATIONAL CYBER SECURITY OPERATIONS CENTER (NCSOC)
Developing required digital infrastructure across the country to effectively serve all citizens has been identified as one of the key elements of the ICT program articulated by the government in-line with the national policy of 'Digitization of Economy'. ICT Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA), as the apex government body implements diverse projects aligned with above.
To achieve the policy objectives, developing of secure and highly available digital infrastructure is essential since the usage of government networks and applications increasing rapidly. ICTA plans to implement a National Cyber Security Operations Center (NCSOC) as one key national initiative aligned with digital infrastructure development projects. This will enable overcoming the barrier of identifying the cyber security attacks to the information systems in a proactive manner while ensuring the security and availability of government networks and services. This will build the trust on government service delivery which would further encourage the usage.
Government organizations, Universities, Financial institutions, Telecommunication partners and several other organizations have been identified as stakeholders in this national initiative. This event aims at creating awareness and thereby to ensure smooth and successful implementation adopting a collaborative approach with all stakeholders.
