‘Imagine IF’ Entrepreneurship Boot Camp 2018 at University of Colombo

‘Imagine IF’ Entrepreneurship Boot Camp 2018, organized by the Industry Development Team at ICTA was held at New Arts Theater (NAT) at University of Colombo (UoC) on Saturday the 04th of August with the participation of 120 undergraduates from National Universities and Higher Education Institutes around the area.
University of Colombo - 'ImagineIF' programme started by Mr. Indika De Zoysa with a detailed speech about Entrepreneurship. Following him, Prof. Samantha Kaluarachchi from UoC addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of 'ImagineIF' Entrepreneurship Boot Camp.
The first session was conducted by Mr. Faththi, one of the founders of PickMe and now Yoho Bed Lanka speaking about the different ways in which the entrepreneurs can validate their idea. Following him, Mr. Chris Doering of Venture Frontier Lanka emphasized the importance of having an creative idea for the business. Next in line was Mohammed Fawaz, CEO of Global Tutor who taught about a tool that is almost compulsory for a startup, the Lean Canvas. The last session was by Mr. Alagan Mahalingam from ZeroOne Technologies about Growth hacking.
